Google Donates $6.5 Million in Funding to Assist Fact-Checking Organizations in Battling COVID-19

With more people working from home, there is an increase in social media usage. Marketers are battling for their attention and pushing more articles to meet the demand. As a result, information is shared faster, and misinformation is taken for facts. Google announced last week, that they are joining efforts to track and limit false stories. As the largest search engine in the world, they are able to combat the issue at a larger scale.
